“Architecting businesses, scaling ideas, and investing in people driven by curiosity, data, and impact."
I thrive at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and execution. My journey is shaped by curiosity, guided by data, and driven by the desire to create meaningful impact. Whether scaling startups, pioneering enterprise sales, or mentoring founders, I transform challenges into actionable outcomes.

Expertize
Success is about timing, adaptability, and execution. At AirMe, I built the first mobile photo-sharing app, scaling to 116 countries and becoming AWS’s first Elastic Cloud case study. Anticipating trends, building scalable systems, and aligning execution with market shifts, are key.
1 / Building & Scaling Businesses
With over $250M in enterprise sales, I focus on solving problems, not just selling products. At Nortel, an 18-month pursuit of a $54M defense deal was won through trust, proof of value, and a deep understanding of customer needs.
2 / Enterprise Sales & GTM Strategy
I’ve invested in 43 startups, guiding founders to achieve market-product fit by solving real customer pain points, build scalable growth loops with proof-of-value frameworks, and develop resilience through first-principles thinking. My hands-on approach has helped these ventures secure over $750M in funding, ensuring they are not just investable but built for sustainable, long-term success.
3 / Venture Investing & Startup Growth
Great businesses are built by great teams. I’ve implemented structured hiring frameworks across multiple ventures to:
Attract top-tier talent.
Align culture with outcomes.
Reduce attrition and improve productivity.
4 / Building High-Performance Teams
From door-to-door Tupperware sales to scaling AI startups, I’ve learned that curiosity, persistence, and execution matter more than credentials. Whether it’s learning C programming, mastering enterprise sales, or leveraging behavioral science, I embrace every challenge with a hands-on approach.
5 / Relentless Grit & Adaptability
FAQs about my work
-
Building a business isn’t just about a great idea—it’s about timing, execution, and resilience. I specialize in identifying emerging trends before they become obvious, designing systems that drive repeatable success, and ensure every action is aligned with customer behavior and market demand.
At Lyzr, we built an enterprise AI adoption framework when most businesses were still experimenting with AI in isolated pilots. Rather than selling AI as a standalone tool, we focused on embedding it into enterprise workflows through strategic partnerships, system integrators, and cloud alliances. This approach accelerated Lyzr’s exposure across global enterprises, securing 100+ customers, co-sell partnerships with AWS, Accenture, Stand8, and Hexacorp, and establishing AI as an operational imperative rather than just a tech experiment.

Sales isn’t about pushing a product—it’s about solving real problems, aligning value with customer priorities, and driving adoption at scale.
I have closed over $250M in enterprise sales by designing proof-of-value frameworks that reduce friction in decision-making, using data-driven strategies to optimize pipeline efficiency and by building high-performance teams through programmatic hiring and structured coaching.

Scaling a startup requires product-market fit, operational clarity, and a compelling investor narrative.
I’ve invested in 43 startups, helping founders align solutions with real customer pain points instead of assumptions. I have guided innovators to build resilience through first principles problem solving anddesign scalable growth models that attract the right investors.

There’s no substitute for relentless grit and adaptability. From door-to-door sales to building category-defining businesses, I’ve learned that success comes from curiosity, persistence, and the willingness to grind.
Through relentless grit I learned coding in C to build early tech solutions, mastered enterprise sales, venture building, and behavioral science through constant iteration and developed a mental toolkit of first-principles thinking and behavioral frameworks to solve complex problems.

I combine strategic vision with executional rigor. Many leaders either focus on big-picture thinking or day-to-day execution.
I bridge both by applying structured thinking to break down complexity, aligning execution with measurable impact and creating repeatable playbooks that scale beyond individual success stories.
At Venturerock, we built GTM and operating frameworks, increasing portfolio success rates by 42%, leading to a $105M NAV in 30 months.
Growth Loops for SaaS GTM & Enterprise Sales
Over the years, I’ve developed a set of mental models to navigate SaaS GTM, enterprise sales, and revenue scaling. These are frameworks I use to evaluate markets, design sales motions, and drive predictable success.
Mental Models for Startup Investing
My mental models for startup investing are frameworks I use to evaluate founders, assess market opportunities, and identify ventures with the potential for exponential growth. They help me focus on the underlying dynamics that predict long-term success.
The Mindset
First Principles Thinking
In 2009, Bangalore's booming IT sector struggled with power shortages. Everyone assumed the problem was generation, but I questioned that. "Is it really a lack of power, or inefficient use?" Turns out, it was the latter. That led to Cleanray, smart LED lighting that cut energy costs by 60%.
Convincing CFOs was tough initially, but the results spoke for themselves. Cleanray captured 72% of the market before being acquired by Wipro. That experience solidified a core belief: breakthroughs come from asking better questions, not just finding better answers. It's a principle I apply to everything I do.
How I apply this thinking today:
Sales & GTM Strategy
Applying behavioral science to design sales motions that drive action, not just attention.
Startup Investing & Scaling
Identifying market inefficiencies that create opportunity, beyond just product.
Teaching & Mentorship
Encouraging founders to challenge assumptions, simplify their thinking, and execute fearlessly.

A Life in Rhythm
Music & Creativity
Music has been a constant thread in my journey; from learning the tabla at five, to later exploring DJing. Both experiences taught me about patience, flow, and adaptability; skills that apply far beyond music, shaping how I approach business, problem-solving, and life itself.
Teaching & Speaking
"Sharing What I’ve Learned, Learning From Those I Teach."
Teaching isn’t about giving answers; it’s about helping people ask better questions and apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios.
The Class That Changed How I Teach
At UC Berkeley, a student asked, “What happens when none of this works in the real world?”
That moment changed everything. I ditched the slides and turned the class into a live problem-solving session.
Since then, my teaching has been a dialogue, not a monologue.
The Founders Who Taught Me More
As a mentor at Stanford Ignite, I’ve worked with early-stage founders navigating uncertainty.
A founder obsessed with perfecting their product was stuck until I asked, “What’s stopping you from talking to 10 customers tomorrow?”
That simple shift transformed their trajectory. From endless refining to real customer validation.
Fireside Chats & Unscripted Moments
At a sales leadership event, someone asked, “How do you handle rejection?”
My response: "I stopped thinking about rejection. If you believe in the value you bring, it’s not rejection. It’s a mismatch."
That landed harder than any slide I could have shown; that’s the power of real, raw conversations.
